My name is Kimberley, I'm 24 years old and live in rural Victoria, Australia. I rather enjoy being creative, it's fun and makes me happy.... but truth be told - I just like to make a mess!

Paper Crafts, Up-cycling, Card Making you name it! I'm alway's on the lookout for new DIY's and crafts. There are are so many talented people out there who are so inspiring to me!

My Oma (grandma) was a fantastic knitter, crocheter & quilter - It's now up to me to learn how to do these things - I've a few projects to finish, I hope you can help me with some tips and tricks too!

Make your own pretty lace earrings! I made some for my friends customised with pearls and intricate lace shapes. Now I’m always on the lookout for some beautiful lace pieces for more pretty earrings! (As I wear them all the time)

Materials: Lace, Scissors, Glue & Water (or Starch),…

Ta simple idea to reuse lace and turn into fashionable earrings. I wore these quite often and had many comments on how pretty they looked!

With Summer around the corner I decided to make my nephews some cool Hooded Towel Ponchos to wear on the way to and from the swimming pool! Having the towels in this style means they can still play without loosing their towels.

MATERIALS: Towels (good quality so they don’t fray), Sewing Machine, Scissors, Felt, tape measure - to measure the height of the kids!

TIME: This little project only took me about 30 minutes to do!

I’ve made some Animal Hoodies (Lion & Shark & Dino) for my nephews before, It’s been well over a year and they still wear them!

I got some inspiration for the hooded ‘animals’ from Crazy Little Projects  (please note, CLP are tutorials for wrap-around towels not ponchos) and the followed the simple tutorial at Delia Creates.

Just thought I’d re share… As these hooded towels are still going strong, and are the go to towels for in the bathroom!

I really want to try this. A little neater and more uniform for a scandi inspired look?
